Spiritual Life: The Eternal Game - Part III

Reincarnation and Multi-dimensions

Since we are eternal beings, once a “lifetime” is finished, a new one begins. Many cultures label this as reincarnation, where our soul re-enters another life here in this earth. However, keeping in mind that the universe is absolutely filled with trillions of other life form possibilities, it becomes probable that we can actually reincarnate into other places in this universe, or even other dimensional planes.

I used to have a real problem with reincarnation until I began to consider the possibilities of reincarnating into another life in another universal place or dimension. Mathematically, it just doesn’t work here on earth. If the world started out with, say, 10 people and the population of the planet today is 8 billion then where have all those extra souls come from? Perhaps the 10 souls have reincarnated every cycle up to today, but that still leaves only the 10 original souls and doesn’t explain the additional billions.

I personally have three very vivid past life experiences in this earth which I have explored. Exciting as that may be, I wanted to know further about where I spent time in between those three earth manifestations. My journey for gaining that knowledge has taken me along this path which we are discussing.

Quantum physicists are discovering that other dimensions do actually exist. Depending on to whom you refer, there are believed to be between 7 and 12 dimensions, at least ones that are being explored and have some form of tangibility to them. Of course, there could be tens, or hundreds, or thousands. We have yet to fully comprehend.

The way in which my mind grasps this idea is through envisioning a 3 dimensional chess board. Perhaps you are familiar with, or have had the chance to play, 3 dimensional chess. Instead of playing on a standard, one dimensional chess board, there are three levels which the mind must contemplate when planning and making moves. I have found traveling inter-dimensionally is much like this, only with more levels to contemplate. I think that much of our unconscious dream state is spent in transverse journeying of these dimensional planes.

Also, what we call “imagination”, I believe is actually a recalling of other dimensional memories. I mean, if we truly believe there is a higher intelligent being who has created ALL, fills ALL with his/her energy, and governs ALL through his/her presence then there is truly nothing that we can imagine that doesn’t already exist… somewhere. Remember, we have come from God, are a part of God and, therefore, every single thing we experience is something which God has already experienced, because all things have been created by God. Spirituality is really not that difficult if one simply stops and thinks about it.

For me as an explorer, this is an absolute joy and excitement which I look forward to for all eternity. The thought of having innumerable choices of life adventures is my idea of “heaven”… not abiding in some plane of total peace that lacks any sort of adventurous stimulation. And, let’s face it; stimulation comes from the thrill of not exactly knowing how something is going to turn out.

On a grand scale, I put myself in God’s shoes and totally believe this is exactly how he/she felt when the decision was made to create multiple universal planes. God loves to explore and needed endless worlds of possibility to experience. As extensions of God, we fulfill that need through our personal experiences which God lives through us.

I believe that when this lifetime is over, we have multiple other options in multiple other planes of existence to choose from for further lessons and growth. It just so happens that an “Olympic-style” occurrence of the multi-universe is taking place here on earth at this point in time. Just like the Olympics, millions of spectators AND participants migrate to where it is being held for a prolonged period of time.

It makes sense to me that, because we are at a threshold of taking a quantum leap into higher consciousness on this planet, billions of souls have come from other realms to partake of this time of high energy and fast paced growth. The “earth plane” is a very exciting place to be at this stage of the game!

Spiritual Life: The Eternal Game - Part II

The Goal of the Game

Most people know and understand the ultimate goal of the game of spiritual life: to progressively grow into oneness with God and ultimately return to our source of life. That’s pretty much a no brainer.

This is where we need to look at the journey of spiritual life as a game. Just as in a game, we keep the ultimate goal of “arriving” at the finish line in the back of our minds, thus “winning” the game. But, we have to give our full attention to the level of the game which we are in at the moment in order to successfully maneuver through that particular level and progress to the next. If we focus too intently on the ultimate goal and don’t give proper attention to the level at hand, we may end up “in jail”, “loose a turn”, or even “go back three spaces”.

However, if we grasp the potential and take advantage of the opportunities which exist all around us throughout this life then we have the possibility to “jump ahead”, “find extra tools and powers”, or “level up”. Our individual game experience depends on our individual choices made along the progression of the game.

Also, the more knowledge we acquire of how to play the game, the more benefits we can glean along the way and carry them along with us for use in other levels. Sometimes, further levels cannot be successfully completed unless we have these benefits. Thus, we have to return to past levels in order to acquire these helpful "items".

I have been passionately pursuing spiritual knowledge and experience for over 30 years of my life. I noticed that about 15 years ago an explosion in rapid growth for the masses began. Before that point, I couldn’t talk of such things that we are discussing today because they just were not accepted by the majority. However, since that time, a growing freedom of expressing and accepting such ideas has blossomed and bloomed. I can now talk about such things with people I newly meet on the streets!

We are living in an amazing time at this point of the game because our “earth plane” is preparing to take a quantum leap into another higher level. I tend to look at it as an experience in the game of Sorry. In this game, if you land on a specific square then you “slide” forward, bypassing several spaces. It can also be compared to receiving a “Proceed to GO” card in Monopoly.

I believe that humanity is nearing such a point in its journey. If we can come together in one consciousness enough to maneuver to that particular point then a great many of us will bypass numerous “normal” steps of spiritual evolution and catapult ahead to newer and more exciting experiences.

Keeping the goal in mind of progressing to oneness with the being of God, we should capitalize on the present energies that are being made available in this stage of the game in order to make great strides together along the journey.

Spiritual Life: The Eternal Game - Part I

The Eternal Cycle of God

Our spiritual journey is meant to be fun and exciting, just like playing a game. However, to effectively win at the game, one must have a certain attitude towards playing it, as well as follow its rules. Having the wrong attitude, or not properly following the rules, will cause us to become idle, or even suffer setbacks towards our progression along the path of the game towards the finish line.

The game of spiritual life is progressive and eternal. To truly understand, appreciate and enjoy our spiritual lives, we must first understand that we are already eternal beings, living eternal lives. Our life didn’t begin when we were born, but has been progressing ever since “God” decided to fragment his essence into trillions upon multiple trillions of galaxies and other forms of energy and life which make up the universe, inclusive of multiple dimensions.

I tend to understand it best by thinking of all the water that exists on our planet, such as oceans, lakes, rivers, streams, etc. Think of all water that exists as “God”. As evaporation occurs, billions of tiny droplets of water are raised into the atmosphere. These droplets have now become individuals, all containing a different journey and fate.

As these droplets of water ascend towards the “heavens”, they progressively become one with other droplets of water until enough of them have joined in unison to form large drops of water. Once a certain state and size of droplet has been reached, the present atmosphere can no longer contain them and they return joyfully back to the source from whence they came. The cycle then begins anew.

Why did “God” do this? I suppose no one (in our dimension) actually knows this; however, I’ve pondered it long and hard and, if we truly place ourselves in God’s position, we can get a glimpse of understanding at the very least.

Picture that you alone are the all powerful being of creative energy which exists. You are eternal and there is no one else to share with, no other reality to know and experience. So, during one of the countless points of time, an epiphany occurs: “I can create an endless array of dimensions, worlds, times, circumstances and then fragment myself into an endless number and variety of beings. This way, a small piece of me can experience the full spectrum of life from endless perspectives.”

With the universe containing an uncountable number of galaxies, all with potential for considerable forms of life, it’s like God has created his version of super-cable television! At any time he can tune into any number of “programs” to not only watch, but to experience all the thoughts, feelings and circumstances of a variety of beings which hold God’s essence. And that is just looking at our material universe. Quantum physicians are finding that multiple realities and dimensions actually do exist, so the super-cable television package which God has created would, no doubt, blow our minds!

When looking at our spiritual journey from such a perspective, we can see that our personal life experience is one of an endless number of “shows” which we are to act in, as well as learn and grow from. We’re all heading back to the source; however, we have all been given a certain amount of free will that determines how soon we arrive there. And, just like actors in a production, no matter what occurs during our scheduled “episode”, be it misery, fear, elated joy, comedy, adventure, etc, at the end of the show, we simply shake it off and chalk it up to another day of playing the game. Another episode awaits tomorrow.

Spiritual Life: The Eternal Game

My wife and I have been doing some deep meditation the past couple of weeks with the purpose of gaining more insight into, and further direction for, our separate journeys, as well as our cooperate journey together. Even though we both have learned to view our spiritual life as something to enjoy and have loads of fun with, our understanding of it as a game has mushroomed through our recent meditations and discussions of what Spirit has been showing us.

In the following blog installments (and there will be quite a few), I will be sharing what we are being shown and what we have been discussing and continue to discuss. We’ll be looking at the nature and objectives of the Eternal Spiritual Game; the attitudes of those playing the game; the rules of the game; the levels of the game; the (often hidden) prizes and pitfalls along the way; and much more.

This is very exciting for us because the more we are learning to embrace our spiritual journeys as a fun, exciting and adventurous game, the more energy we are experiencing for manifesting spiritual will into reality. We hope that these blogs will be exciting and of interest to you too.

Also, please understand that my views on spirituality are exactly that; my views. For me, one of the most beautiful things I’ve learned about true spirituality is that each person has their own experience. I simply want to offer some of my many experiences and knowledge which I have gained, and am gaining, in order to assist others along the journey. I’m an explorer by heart and carry within me a great many theories myself as I work on figuring out the grand game of spiritual progression.

However, one thing I know for a fact: one must have an open mind in order to effectively grow and experience true spiritual manifestations. I know this because I live it and experience it. I create miracles, manifest things and change situations in my life because I explore with an open mind and have learned much about how to create my own life experience. As I progress and learn more, I am better able to do these things. For me, this is the adventure of the journey: to experience spiritual life now and not simply wish or hope for it to come “some day in the great by and by”.

The journey begins in my next post! =)

Energy Transference

Transferring energy to a person or thing is a common practice in spiritual endeavors. When we build up our spiritual energy and then release it into a person or object, things happen. What we have to understand is that what transpires is, we receive energy from the source and then pass it along to another as a means of assistance. We have to first, receive the energy from above in order to pass it along to those in need.

One of my favorite experiences took place about eight years ago when I was doing a lot of work through the internet. I was located in upstate New York, living alone and spending a great deal of time in prayer and meditation. A woman contacted me through email fom Texas, asking me to help her.

She had two young children, a girl that was around 7 years old and a boy around 5 years old. Her two children had been having terrible, unsettling nightmares for a couple of years. She had taken them to doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, faith healers and spiritualists in order to stop their terrible, unsettling night visions. Nothing, however, helped them.

In desperation, the mother saw my work online and contacted me through email. She pleaded for some form of assistance in helping her children sleep calmly through the night.

I told her I would pray about the situation, and when I did, immediately Spirit showed me the problems that the children were encountering. There was a large, dimensional hole into the spirit world that had been opened up to them, but because they could not recognize it and appropriately deal with it, forces were coming through the “porthole” unabated.

Spirit showed me to construct a dream catcher for each of the children based on the guidance given me (I had lived and worked with Native American brothers and sisters for some years). I contacted the mother and told her of this. Over the next couple of weeks, I constructed two unique dream catchers based on information I received through spiritual guidance.

I prayerfully made each one, crafting specific stones into the web and placing certain objects on the rim. I sent each child a long letter describing what each piece of the dream catcher represented and what shortcoming it strengthened within them. I packaged them up and sent them with a prayer, placing it all on the “backburner” of spiritual work accomplished.

About a month later I received an elated email from the mother stating that the children were no longer having nightmares. They had received the dream catchers, hung them over their beds and were no longer having nightmares. They had even taken them to their classes to share them as a “show and tell”.

The mother was ecstatic. We kept in touch for several years before finally losing contact.

To this day, I am very grateful for the ability to transfer energy to others at a distant location through the gift of transference.

Even though I continually work towards the ability to transfer this “god” energy without using objects, I have learned a great lesson in that others NEED to have objects in which to focus their faith. My teachers of this lesson were two young and beautiful children who were set free by the power of transference.

Spirituality versus Religion

The term spirituality is used more today than ever before. More book and article titles use the term, its verbiage is heard and seen in much of the media, it pops up in conversation more often and many more people today will respond with being spiritual when asked their religious belief.

What is meant when someone responds with spirituality as their stand on a belief system? We will look at the differences between the two and if those differences make spirituality noticeably distinguishable from religion.

Structure

Religion is a structured belief system with specific doctrines to guide and govern the masses that depend on it. Structure is good for those beginning their journey to discover “god”, one’s own subconscious and the role one plays in the grand scheme of things.

However, structure imposed by a religion can also become very suffocating for those who desire to grow beyond the boundaries of the governing structure. Spiritual growth is limited by and can actually be impeded by structure.

Spirituality has no formal structure, save the governing of one’s own developing subconscious and the “spirit” that guides that growth. Boundaries are not set by another human will and decision, but by that “spirit” which governs all things and the developing person’s own subconscious. When following a spiritual path, one knows what is right and wrong instinctively through a growing relationship with the spirit that governs all.

Control

The purpose of doctrine being implemented within a religious organization is a means of providing guidance, yes, but it is also meant to control the masses. Rules which are established within a religion are designed to keep the masses in line through a reward and punishment mentality.

Followers are rewarded for keeping the rules by being told they will go to heaven, or reincarnate, or even progress to enlightenment. However, if they fail to keep the rules then they are threatened with the fear of punishment by being sent to hell, or imprisoned in a quasi dimension, or failure to reach enlightenment. These rules of punishment are designed to play on the fears of the masses, thus keeping them under control.

Spirituality provides a freedom to explore and experience according to one’s own personal journey. Unhindered by learning and following a long list of rules, one can focus on building a deeper relationship with the spirit that is in all things and governs all things. Because there are no man-made rules to keep, one can seek out knowledge, understanding and experience with the spirit anywhere, anytime and with anyone.

Division

This is, by far, the greatest difference between religion and spirituality. All religions divide people into those who believe and follow their set rules and doctrines, and those who don’t. The ones who don’t are considered enemies to the faith and thus enemies of the “god” of that particular religion. People who believe differently may be tolerated in a superficial way, but the doctrine ingrains the idea into the minds of its masses that these people are “ungodly” and not really a part of their faith.

Practically every war that has produced immeasurable grief, suffering and death has been waged either over religion, or with a very strong underlying religious tone. People across the planet are segregated into their separate religious belief systems and the people of each system are not fully trusted by the others. They might proclaim love for all, but the underlying truth is that if they offend my belief then they will be ostracized and punished.

Spirituality believes and participates in the idea that the energy (or life) of “god” is in all things and, therefore, all things are considered to be precious and valuable assets to one’s spiritual growth. Regardless of culture, color, background, or belief system, the encounter one has with another is a learning experience to be cherished.

Spiritual Peace and Oneness

The foundation of spirituality is that all people, and even all things, are filled with a “god” energy that is attempting to propel everything forward in a constant state of spiritual progression. One quickly realizes when following a truly spiritual path that every situation in one’s life has a valuable purpose and that one really has no enemies. There are only lower and higher levels of progression, just as there are various levels of classes and learning achievements within a school. All are on the same path to “heaven” or “enlightenment”.

Peace on earth will come through the masses throwing off the confining chains of religious doctrine and learning to count all things as precious. When this is truly and deeply believed AND practiced, it will change the world as we will no longer look at others as enemies, but as simply students of “god” at different levels of progression. We will stop fighting and start helping those below us and learning from those above us. All will be one. True love will rule.

Meditation Tips and Techniques

The ability to effectively meditate is, by far, the most important aspect to experiencing manifestation of desired will and thought. Whether you prefer to call it “answer to prayer” or “magic”, actively seeking the material manifestation of a desired want or need is the goal of everyone who participates in spirituality. We desire to learn, grow and experience more intimate communication with our “higher selves” and the source of our latent energy (which we also call by multiple names) and to gain guidance from that source to help us with manifesting needs, for ourselves and for others.

Meditation: Connecting to the Source

Regardless of what name we give to the universal energy source that governs all the intricacies of life, getting in touch with that source requires entering a state of meditation where we quiet our conscious minds and are able to tune into the still, small voice of that source that lies deep within our subconscious.

I have been practicing, experiencing, teaching and counseling for many years and the number one complaint I hear (and experienced at the start) when it comes to meditation is the problem with quieting the mind. We are so adapted to just letting our minds flow helter skelter that it takes a real, concentrated effort to still the “noise” (mental activity) and arrive at a place where we can engage in serious meditation and concentration that will produce results. In the beginning, we can only quiet our minds for the briefest of periods before distracting thoughts interfere with our concentration.

This is especially difficult for beginners to accomplish, but it is also essential to achieving satisfying results. Many people, even after they have been practicing awhile, yield to a shotgun effect at getting results. Some days we tap into a good connection and get a result, but many other times we put forth the effort and get nothing. Although this is part of the growing process, we should move from this stage into planes where we achieve a higher and higher manifestation percentage. This will happen as we discover the best ways to enter meditation deeply and more efficiently.

Achieving a Constant, Semi-State of Meditation

Our goal should be to live our daily lives in a semi-state of meditation. I have learned to do this (in varying degrees) and have found it to be most productive. When we go throughout our day already in tune to spiritual frequencies then we are better able to pick up on the messages coming from the spirit world, whether they are voices, hunches, visions, signs, etc. I have experiences of direct guidance and communication from the spirit world on a regular basis when I maintain this level of meditation, whether I’m sitting quietly at home or am out running errands in the busy streets.

So, how can we effectively meditate and reach such a stage of internal communication? I must say, from my experience of dealing with many people from many walks of life, different methods of meditation work for different people. There is no one method that can be said is the “only” or “best” way to meditate, because what works best for me may not be what works best for you.

However, the target for everyone who practices spirituality is most definitely the same… to achieve a degree of meditation and concentration that will reach into the depths of our subconscious, tap into the universal source of energy that abides there and bring it into our natural existence, producing a manifestation of desire or will.

Assume the Most Productive Position

There are various methods and positions which can be utilized to practice meditation. The lotus position works very well for huge numbers of people. You can also sit “Indian” style, which comes from how Native Americans would sit and is, IMO, a relaxed form of the lotus. You might also sit comfortably in a chair or on a sofa. Again, the style is not what is the most important, but finding what works best for you.

I actually utilize all the above methods and have even entered meditative trances while standing. I basically use whatever style based on the mood I’m in at the time. The bottom line is that I get results regardless of the position I maintain.

However, there is one very important thing to keep in mind when experimenting with which position you want to use. You should be comfortable, but not so comfortable that you fall asleep! Falling asleep is another major hurdle to overcome, running close behind a noisy mind. Lying down is a bad meditative position!

Create the Most Productive Atmosphere

It is very effective and helpful when beginning a meditative practice to use objects to focus on. Staring at a candle flame, bowl of water, mirror, or other object helps the mind focus on something tangible while you train your subconscious to open up during an awakened state. This technique will help quiet the noisy conscious mind that is accustomed to always having something to focus on while awake.

Other sensory affecting techniques are quite beneficial to use during meditative training. Incense and scented oils, and a CD of soft, gentle instrumental music, nature sounds, or chants are also quite effective in providing a creative atmosphere. Surrounding yourself with spiritual objects and symbols that mean something special to you also help to quiet the conscious mind and open up the subconscious mind.

As you progress in your ability to meditate, you will find that the objects become less necessary as you will enter into a deep meditation quickly without them. However, as everyone knows, we don’t maintain the same moods, feelings and attitudes everyday of our lives (despite our best efforts), so when you are finding it difficult to enter a meditative state, break out the objects and utilize them. This is why they’re in your toolbox.

After much practice, you will discover that you actually maintain a peaceful, meditative state throughout your day and this is where a constant, exiting spiritual journey comes into play. As you progress, you will notice more communications and you will see more manifestations. At this point, life becomes an exciting journey!

Working With Unique Crystal Energy

I’ve had a request from a reader concerning the uses of crystals in spiritual work, so I will address that subject in my blog today.

Crystals are indeed quite interesting and potent to work with. Their unique ability to receive, store and release energy is well known, both in the spiritual and technical world. Crystals are used in TVs, computers, cell phones, satellites, etc because of their capacity to receive and transmit informational energy. They operate the same way in spiritual use.

I often use crystals in my work and they are especially effective in healing, especially of physical, emotional and mental states. There are two main functions which I use crystals for (and, in particular, a beautiful crystal wand I came upon some years back).

1. Because of a crystal's receiving ability, they are excellent tools for drawing out negative energy from someone. I have successfully healed physical, mental and emotional problems by extracting the source of the negative energy from the afflicted. You are removing disruptive negative energy from the person's body, psyche, or soul.

However, it is important to then take the crystal to a protected place within your spiritual "realm" and release that energy (privately, away from the "patient" and away from other susceptible "receivers"). Negative energy has a tendency to reattach by filling a void, so it takes some understanding and practice to effectively release the negative energy in such a way as to not negatively affect yourself or someone else. Protection and containment meditations are great for learning this.

NOTE: Most crystals require cleansing after use to "decontaminate" them from the residue of negative energy. After safely releasing the negative energy, wash the crystal in salt water. Because they are so often used for inner work, it is also good to "calibrate" its vibrations by placing it in an area during a full moon in order for it to absorb the gentle, lunar vibrations which are known to affect the emotional state of humankind. This, in essence, sensitizes the vibrational energy of the crystal with the soft vibrations of lunar reflective energy which makes the tool more sensitive to emotional needs (both of you and others).

2. Because of a crystal's ability to surgically focus and pinpoint energy, they are excellent tools for doing "surgical" inner work on someone. Again, this can be used for physical, mental, or emotional work, when someone needs laser beam like energy focused into a specific area. In this case, you are transmitting your energy through the crystal and into the person for a desired effect. The crystal doesn't require cleansing after such a use because the Source's energy is flowing through you and, therefore, through the crystal and driving out any negative energy, not absorbing it.

Of course, crystals can also be used by carrying them on your person, or using them as focal points for directed meditations. (Refer to my last post entitled True Power Behind Spiritual Objects which will address the dynamics of this use much better.) I use specific crystals in such a way to help my mind stay focused throughout the day on a specific desire which I want to manifest. Physically, touching or looking at the crystal provides the mind with a renewed visualization of what it is you're trying to manifest and, thus, provides renewed energy to manifest it.

Studying the various types of crystals available and their vibrational characteristics will assist in choosing the most effective crystal for a selected purpose. Doing so will provide you with the best source to manifest your desire.

Continue to learn about, use and better understand your spiritual relationship with crystals. They can be powerful stepping stones into deeper connections to your subconscious energy storehouses, as well as effective tools in manifesting desired results.

True Power Behind Spiritual Objects

Utilizing objects is an important part of spiritual practice. Placing a red, white, or black cloth on an alter, lighting certain colored candles for a ceremony or meditation, using a bowl of water for scrying, using objects decorated with a pentagram, yen and yang, or other symbols, etc, all provide meditative focus for any spiritual work or growth that we’re trying to achieve.

However, these things are just that, things, and do not actually contain much real spiritual power. True, everything contains a certain level and type of energy vibration, but these vibrations within themselves are not magic. True spiritual power comes from our ability to focus on a desired goal and then pull that desire into manifested reality. The power does not lie within the object, but within us.

Spiritual objects give our subconscious something to focus on and this is quite important, especially for a beginner who has not yet trained their mind and spirit to focus in-depth for an extended period of time. If we believe that lighting green candles will help with manifesting needed money then it is that belief that manifests the desire, not the green candles. However, if using the green candles helps us achieve a higher state of creative energy then that object is helpful and effective, although it doesn’t provide much spiritual energy in and of itself.

The power to manifest is our ability to transfer inner spiritual energy into the ether world and effectively use it to form that which we desire and pull it into the natural world. The more we achieve deeper levels of meditation and focus, the more we need to release our dependence on objects and simply use our mind and spirit to work any desired energy. These objects can easily become a crutch and hinder us from spiritual growth.

Using the example of green candles for drawing money, if we have an urgent need for extra cash, then we trust in the green candles for assistance in drawing that money to us. However, if we are out of green candles then we feel like we cannot effectively work the energy necessary to draw the desire because we are missing a key element in the meditation. It is not the absence of the green candles that defeats the process, but the BELIEF that we are hindered without the green candles.

I’m not saying to totally abandon objects within spiritual practice, but to end dependence on objects as a direct requirement of manifesting a desire. I have been involved in spiritual practice for over 30 years and still use object to add strength to visualization and meditation techniques. However, I do not rely upon these objects as necessities.

If I am out and about and need a desired manifestation very soon then objects are not available or practical for such a situation. I need to focus now, visualize now, meditate now and release the sufficient energy necessary to manifest that need now. If I feel I have to wait to do my ritual until I have the necessary objects then I am defeated and miss the opportunity to create. I am basically crippled without my objects.

Spiritual objects can be effectively and successfully used as stepping stones to build a stronger and deeper meditative state and this is their purpose. They can also be readily used to strengthen the power of visualization at times. But always keep in mind that the focus of the power source is your spirit, not the objects.

Creative energy abides deep within your subconscious and is released through meditation and visualization. The more that you can manifest desire into reality without using objects, the freer and more effective you become in producing results at any time and in any place.

The Sixth Sense: Fine Tuning Spiritual Reception

The sixth sense, which is commonly referred to as ESP (Extrasensory Perception), is considered to be any experience, intuition, or obtaining of knowledge that comes by means other than the five physical senses of sight, hearing, touch, smell, or taste. It is through this higher sensing that we communicate with other dimensions that we generally label as “spirit world” for lack of better terminology and understanding.

Most people have occasional experiences with such things throughout life, but often brush them off as déjà vu, coincidence, luck, or simply a weird occurrence. However, the functioning of our sixth sense is controllable and can be sharpened to such a point that it is something that we can depend upon as a tangible and daily process, effectively leading, guiding and directing us through our journey.

To make it easier for the mind to grasp, think of these other dimensions as radio waves. We can tune into different waves of communication by adjusting the tuning knob on the radio until we reach higher or lower frequencies. High tech radios actually have two tuning knobs. One for finding a desired station and the other for fine-tuning that particular frequency until the message comes in crisp and clear.

Many world renowned quantum physicists have presented a theory which is just beginning to touch upon this phenomenon. They refer to this as string theory and it basically reveals that there exist other dimensions (as many as eleven), although the number is disagreed upon. Regardless, science is catching up to spiritual experience and revealing that much, much more lies beyond what our five physical senses can detect.

As we pursue exercises of meditation, prayer, spiritual study, divination, etc, we “tune in” to these other dimensional frequencies more easily. As we continue pursuing these exercises (exercising the parts of our being (higher senses) that are sensitive to these various energy (spiritual) wavelengths), we “fine-tune” our sixth sense and, thus, experience more communication from these unseen dimensions. The more we practice and use our sixth sense (or “gifts”, as it is often referred to), the more frequently we have these experiences and the more fine-tuned they become.

What’s more, having a sixth sense is not for select persons. Everyone has the ability to operate in and navigate these other worldly dimensions. The human being is designed to walk in a heightened “spiritual” experience, operating in a high definition of Extrasensory Perception.

So, what stops most from operating in a higher perception of frequencies? There are several factors which can hinder our attempts at developing our tuning apparatuses.

Faith – Of course, one will not put forth any sort of effort to build and strengthen something which they don’t believe exists. The first step in tapping into your sixth sense is to believe and acknowledge it is there. A closed mind, or even a partial one, will hamper efforts to mature the sixth sense.

If you take an honest look at strange, coincidental, or even unexplainable things that happen in your life, I’m confident that you will accept that this sort of thing has played out numerous times in your life.

Knowledge – If one doesn’t have a workable knowledge and understanding of how these things might work, then progression will be quite limited, even if a great deal of practice is pursued. Digging into information which has something to do with such experiences is the best course of action. Of course, there is a lot of bogus information which exists, but as you increase your ability to fine-tune your “gifts”, the easier it will be to determine what the truth is and what is unacceptable or questionable.

However, information that is questionable is not necessarily errant, but could just simply be out of your particular range of understanding at the time of ingestion and may eventually explode like a ray of piercing light at a later date. I have studied (and continue to study) everything spiritual, psychological, scientific, etc that I can get my hands on about this kind of phenomenon for the past 30+ years and I have had this experience many, many times.

The best practice when you don’t fully understand something, but cannot throw it aside as bogus, is to file it away under “questionable” in the recesses of your mind. One day, that filed info may fill in a piece of the greater puzzle, causing you to propel even higher into your experience.

Practice – Practice is a key element in any form of betterment or progression. Even in our natural world, if we don’t practice a talent, gift, election, or other objective, we won’t excel. This is simply common sense. However, we often become so busy that we spend very little time at all delving into those things which can provide us with more sensitivity to extrasensory phenomenon (or spiritual experiences).

Time needs to be taken to meditate, pray, practice and experiment with other forms of opening our minds and sensitizing our spirits and intuitive perception. Many people fear experimentation with things they don’t understand. However, I have found this to be a great help in achieving heightened spiritual awareness (and, by the way, I have never had a “bad” experience while doing so). Possessing an explorative nature helps to open up possibilities which we would never consider otherwise. Most great inventions and revelations come from such explorers who are not afraid to go where others won’t tread.

This article simply brushes the surface, but I hope it will assist any who feel a twinge of desire to pursue spiritual growth. We live in a time where the desire to know, understand and operate in true spirituality is exploding. Cooperatively, people from all walks of life from all over the world are attaining new heights in spiritual awareness and it’s because we are throwing off the shackles of doubt, ignorance and laziness to press forward into unseen places which call to us with vibrations that remind us of “home”.
