Two powerful, record breaking storms are raging simultaneously. One, a winter behemoth is releashing its fury across the United States, affecting some 30 states and a full third of the country's population. The second, a monster summer cyclone, larger than Hurricane Katrina, is currently riping across northeastern Australia.
U.S. Snowstorm Update
As expected, this mega storm is breaking records across the nation's Midwest and Ohio Valley. Chicago's O'Hare Int'l Airport recorded a record breaking 13.6 inches from the monster and the storm wasn't finished! 'At a Wednesday morning news conference, Chicago emergency management director Jose Santiago said there will likely be 15 to 20 inches of snow on the ground -- 25 inches in some places -- by the time the storm leaves the area.' We aren't just talking breaking a record here, we're talking smashing it! The storm is being labeled one 'of historic proportions'. (WR - emphasis mine)
I like the way the writer puts this next part of the article... 'The National Weather Service forecasts and advisories through Wednesday night read like the Abominable Snow Monster's Christmas list: Up to 14 inches of snow in South Bend, Indiana, with winds up to 30 mph; up to 13 inches of snow and a low of 12 below zero in Ottumwa, Iowa; as much as 13 inches of new snow in Berlin, New Hampshire, by Wednesday night, and hard freeze warnings in Houston and Galveston, Texas.' Ya gotta enjoy a little humor in the face of a monstrous storm! =)

Australia's Cyclone Yasi Update
Aussie's battened down the hatches yesterday for a giant of a cyclone that hit land around 11pm local time. The storm has moved inland and has been reduced, at last check in, to a Catagory 2, although it's too early for damage reports.
However, I want to emphasize the language discribing the severity of the storm because we are continually looking at climate change and global warming and how they are INCREASING & ACCELERATING Earth changes. Repeating what I said in yesterday's post... these two storms fit the bill.
In the article (WR - all emphasis mine)... '"This is a cyclone of savagery and intensity," Prime Minister Julia Gillard said in a nationally television news conference. "People are facing some really dreadful hours in front of them."' ... continuing... '"We are facing a storm of catastrophic proportions," Queensland state premier Anna Bligh said after Yasi was upgraded to a maximum-strength category five storm.' ...and continuing... 'Satellite images showed Yasi as a massive storm system covering an area bigger than Italy or New Zealand, (<--- That's one BIG puppy! - WR) with the cyclone predicted to be the strongest ever to hit Australia. Officials said it would take around an hour for the eye to pass over any one point.'

As you can see from the vocabulary used to describe these two giant storms... they AIN'T NORMAL! And a point I want to stress here is... we AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET! You think these puppies are big? You think we won't see anything bigger? Well, hold onto your horses cuz we will definately be seeing storms bigger than these. That is exactly why I started this blog, so we can watch the DAILY progress of Earth changing events and how they are, not only accelerating, but increasing in intensity.
And, yes, images of all those people who have smugly told me that we would never see these kinds of events in our generation are passing through my mind at this moment.
Solar Wind & CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) Update
Tomorrow (February 3rd), marks the arrival of a double whammy from the sun. High-speed solar winds and a CME are expected to both hit the Earth's magnetic field tomorrow causing geomagnetic activity, one kind of which are auroras. See http://spaceweather.com/
Now, I have to ask, "What other geomagnetic activities can occur from this?" Good question, glad you asked!
I'm gonna say that we should watch for increased volcanic and earthquake activity over the next couple of days. My theory is that when the Earth receives an influx of solar energy into its core, the core expands and causes surface calamities.
Of course, another way we could look at this is by analyzing this solar storm's affect on animals and people who are directly affected by the Earth's magnetic influence (WR Note: The storm hit yesterday, Feb 1, but the full affects aren't to be seen until Feb 3 and 4). But, then again, I'm sticking to the Earth science field and avoiding the psychological.. people are gonna go crazy like in Egypt... sort of thing. ;) Just wanted to peak your curiosity by throwing that out there! hehehe
Keep building those spiritual arks!
